Working with Children Check

In accordance with Victorian law and MCC Hockey’s Child Safe Policy working with children (WWC) checks must be obtained or evidence of a current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration or Victorian/Federal police officer exemptions must be provided to the Committee (via the Secretary) by all club volunteers and any staff, aged 18 and over, working with or highly likely to interact (whether directly including if supervised or by electronic communication) with persons under 18 years old, as part of their club duties or activities, including:

  • Committee members
  • Subcommittee members – juniors and seniors
  • Coaches – juniors and seniors
  • Team managers and coordinators – juniors and seniors
  • Other identified persons

INSTRUCTIONS TO OBTAIN A WWC CARD

Apply for a Working With Children Check card as a ‘Volunteer Check’ and specify the Organisation as MCC Hockey Section – see WWC Application Website

KEY INFORMATION REQUIRED FOR SUBMITTING THE APPLICATION:

  • There is no fee payable for a Volunteer Check
  • Organisation Name is : MCC Hockey Section
  • Postal Address for MCCHS is: PO BOX 605, South Yarra, VIC, 3141
  • Phone for MCCHS is: 0407 070 610 (club secretary)
  • Occupational Field is: 42 Clubs, associations or movements of a cultural, recreational or sporting nature
  • Submit the Application online
  • When you visit an Australia Post outlet to finalise your application, they will take your photo for free
  • Please email a copy of the application receipt to: mcchs.sec@gmail.com

If you already have a WWC card or a VIT card please email a scanned copy to: mcchs.sec@gmail.com
