Club position descriptions

MCC Hockey is a volunteer organisation and without its members playing a role we could not survive. Our club is growing and there are many tasks that need to be done to support that growth. Many hands make light work so we encourage members and junior families to please get actively involved in club organisation.

All roles contribute to the wellbeing of the club and can be very enjoyable, teach you new skills and let you give back and make a difference.

If you would be interested in filling any of the roles below – whether you are happy to continue from this/last year (thanks!) OR can get involved now, would you please contact the relevant person listed to let the Committee/Competition Subcommittees know and to discuss what is involved.

We aim to fill all roles every year and there are many roles to fill so all offers of help are greatly appreciated.

Work must be done preferably on a Friday afternoon between 4pm and 6pm (or Saturday/Sunday morning between 9am and 11am when no juniors).

Maintenance is needed weekly from February to last weekend September (except weeks when professional full ground clean is done x 3 times a year) and every second week between October and January (as needed).
