Here in Victoria we have had to learn to adapt to “socially distanced” hockey – with no tackling, marking, etc – more than just about anyone else in the world.  We have learned, as have many others, that there are ways to engage with each other and teach and learn that we had never previously considered.  We have realised that if fully embraced, and in spite of circumstances, technology can provide us with more access than we’ve ever had.  And we have also all likely thought to ourselves, “streuth, we could have just done that by videocall all along”.

Now, when it comes to learning hockey, there’s still nothing that competes with being out there on the pitch, and our coaches and players have been doing a fantastic job getting back out there in 2021, but one thing we can’t offer is individual sessions from perhaps the greatest Australian hockey player of all time, and 5x FIH World Hockey Player of the Year, Jamie Dwyer.

That’s why we’re excited to announce that we are partnering with online coaching provider Profesh to offer access to specially curated coaching lessons from the man himself.  In this course, Jamie goes in depth on everything he learnt throughout his career, discussing unique learnings around mindset, overcoming adversity, getting the most out of yourself, preparation, training, skills and tactics.  This is your chance to go deep into the learnings on one of the best hockey players of all time, all at your own time, when and where you want.

US$69 (approx AU$89), representing great family value.

$10 of every sign-up that goes through MCC Hockey gets donated right back to the club.
